Here’s a plug for a Finance podcast I’m subscribed to. I mentioned before in a post that I’m aiming to be PROACTIVE, not REACTIVE first thing in the morning. My plan at the moment is to keep my phone on airplane mode and listen to podcasts while preparing my lunch, breakfast and other tasks in the morning. I wait until later to connect my phone and be reactive to email, social media etc.

At the same time, I’ve been getting an introduction into personal finance by reading Personal Finance for Dummies by Eric Tyson. I’m not as good at reading as I am listening to podcasts, so it’s taking me a while to get through the book. I was particularly interested in learning about how to invest in real estate, but I haven’t finished the sections on the stock market and mutual funds yet.

However, thanks to the Radical Personal Finance Podcast, I get to listen to even highlights of a lot of topics in personal finance. A friend of mine is beginning an investment in Real Estate and I want to support him more with encouragement and any knowledge I have.

Looking forward to learning more from this great podcast.

I listen to podcasts on an Android mobile, and at the moment I’m using the Player FM podcast app. This may change in time, especially since I hear Google will be giving native podcast support to Google Play Music. If it’s simpler and more efficient I may make the switch.
