I experimented with the time-lapse video function of my new iPhone 6s one afternoon. I followed some fast-moving clouds in downtown Osaka, trying to keep the phone reasonably steady. It was hard, since I was sitting in a funny position and trying to twist around, following the clouds’ path, without screwing up the angle too much.

I didn’t do a great job, but the video turned out great anyway. iPhones have a lot of annoying problems but this video was automatically steadied, apparently, judging by the finished clip. The iPhone 6s Plus has image stabilization, while the non-Plus version (like mine) doesn’t. But for time-lapse, I guess it does. I like it.
