Tunes For Tohoku Live Acoustic Performance @ Avalon Pub – Huawei Nexus 6P vs SONY RX100 M3

tunes for tohoku

Tunes For Tohoku is an awesome band raising money for orphans in the Tohoku Region of Japan that was devastated after the earthquake on March 11, 2011. All of their profits go to charities to help the orphans. I had the opportunity to see them perform an acoustic live performance at Avalon Pub, Osaka.

Huawei Nexus 6P

I was able to take two video angles of the performance. One was on a tripod with a Huawei Nexus 6P. Stabilization off (to avoid a feedback loop), 1080p HD, Google Camera app.

SONY RX100 M3

The other was with a SONY RX100 M3. Settings were Manual, AVCHD  24p 24M (FX) (24fps), shutter speed 1/50sec, F1.8, Auto ISO. Normally I film in AVCHD 60p 28M (PS) (60fps), shutter speed 1/125sec , but this was a low light situation, so I brought it down to 24fps so I could use a shutter speed of 1/50sec.
