Photography advice:
Don’t walk away after the first shot; move and explore different perspectives
I received some very generous advice from a professional photographer on this Photowalk in Kyoto. He said don’t walk away after the first shot. Instead move to a different angle and shoot, move and shoot again. That way I see the subject from a variety of angles. I think it was great advice.
Also, the sky is overexposed, but I’ll pretend that was on purpose.

Simple, but I thought the green in front of a green background was worth capturing on this photowalk.
Creamy water flow, Kyoto
Quick beginner photography tip. Use “S” Shutter priority mode to slow the shutter speed down and take photos of creamy water. But, remember to keep your camera still!
Foodstand Oysters in HDR
Saw these oysters at a foodstand in Kyoto. I’d rather sit down in a nice restaurant and compliment then with some white wine, but for those who need their oyster fix, they’re ready to go.

Interesting fountain near Keage Station in Kyoto. I was experimenting with long, creamy exposures during the 5th Kyoto Photowalk.
Lighting up the front garden, Kyoto
Not sure if this was a restaurant or a residence. In all the excitement of the 5 5th Kyoto Photowalk, I kind of lost track myself. They certainly lit it up well though.
