This was my first attempt at a slow motion video. My my camera is a SONY RX100M3 and I took this video at 120 frames per second using the XAVC S codec. I had it on manual video mode and set my shutter speed to 240/sec, aperture at F1.8 and ISO on AUTO, manual focus. I had the camera on a mini tripod, so I disabled stabilization completely.

But, since it was my first attempt, I stuffed up. I moved the camera back at one point to get a wider view and when I adjusted the manual focus, I didn’t get it spot on, so the pancakes are a bit soft and out of focus. I also thought that at 120fps and a 240/sec shutter speed I don’t really need a tripod, so in future slow motion videos I’m shooting by hand. I’m sure a tripod doesn’t hurt though.
