Northshore Cafe and Dining, ノースショア where the Eggsluts and Sprout Sandwiches don’t disappoint

Northshore is a cafe in Kitahama not far from Brooklyn Roasting Company and also situated overlooking the river.

I’ve complained about McDonald’s breakfast ending at 10:30am, but Northshore takes this up another notch. Their economical “Gu-do Morning Set” is only available until 9:00am. They open at 7:00am, so this gives you some time if you’re there early and eager.

The food portions are surprisingly large by Japanese standards. I had a sprout sandwich (pictured) with tuna. However, the less expensive Eggslut came with a larger variety of vegetables including purple cauliflower, and a bonus cooked egg hidden inside the salad. The menu looks healthy and delicious.

As for the drinks, I had the Northshore blend coffee, black as always. It was a delightful blend, very satisfying and I’d definitely try it again.

Great job Northshore. If you visit Kitahama early in the morning, too early for Brooklyn Roasting Company, or you want to get something more than just coffee and sweets, make your way to Northshore for a great experience.
