This is my favourite coffee brew method. It gives me consistently better results than V60 Pour Over or French Press. It’s a mix of both of those brewing methods; Filter (Percolation) and Immersion.

There are specific coffee brewers made for this, but you can achieve a similar brew with a generic drip coffee machine using the pressure release valve on the dripper. Normally you set the pot under the dripper when you start the brew process. Simply let the coffee sit and brew in the dripper for 3 minutes before inserting the pot and releasing the coffee. This gives you a more complete, full bodied flavour. You can grind your beans slightly coarser too since you are utilizing immersion brewing.
